Privacy
This notice explains what we collect when you visit built2spark.com or join the list, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask of us. The short version: we use it to run the list and the site, and nothing is used for advertising.
Who is responsible
built2spark, Portugal, is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to [email protected] about anything in this notice.
What we collect
When you join the list
- Your email address.
- Whether you have confirmed it, and when you signed up, confirmed or unsubscribed.
- Which form you used and the version of the consent wording you saw next to it.
- If you answer it, which pieces interest you most (hoodies, tees or both).
- Some technical details of the request, which we use to keep the list free of abuse.
When you visit the site
- The page you opened, the page that linked to it (without its query string), campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), some technical details of the request, and your cookie choice.
- A random visitor number, only if you accept analytics cookies.
When you make a cookie choice
- Your choice, when you made it, the version of the banner wording and, if you accepted analytics, your random visitor number.
When you write to us
- Your message and email address, to answer you.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Emails about the launch — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given on the form and confirmed through the link we email you. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Analytics — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given in the cookie banner. Nothing loads until you accept.
- Proof of consent — our legal obligation to be able to show consent was given (Art. 6(1)(c) with Art. 7(1)).
- Keeping the site secure and working — our legitimate interest in preventing abuse such as automated sign-ups and in knowing which pages are read (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Knowing where our visitors come from — our legitimate interest in understanding our audience by country, no finer than that (Art. 6(1)(f)). Nothing here is used to advertise to you or to profile you.

There is no login and no session cookie. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
How long we keep it
- Sign-ups that were never confirmed: deleted within 14 days (the link works for 48 hours).
- Confirmed sign-ups: until you unsubscribe, and at most 3 years after you confirmed. After that we keep only a minimal record of the sign-up for up to 3 years, so we never email you again by mistake; ask us and we delete it entirely.
- Visit records: 13 months.
- Cookie choice records: 3 years, to be able to prove consent.
- Google Analytics data: 2 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time — through the unsubscribe link in our emails, through the cookie choice above, or by writing to [email protected] — without affecting what happened before. We answer within one month.
